Pearson Test of English (Academic)

PTE Academic is the world  leader in computer-based testing of English for study abroad and immigration. This exam is computer-based only. It is desgined for those who wish to obtain Australian and New Zealand student visa and migration applications. Many universities also accept this qualification for entry onto academic courses.

Pros:  Fast results and tests available almost daily. 

Cons:  Not as well known as IELTS and no longer accepted as a SELT for UKVI immigration purposes. 

Best suited to: Those wishing to emigrate to Australia or New Zealand
