LanguageCert
LanguageCert International ESOL
LanguageCert is a new entry into the 'on-demand' English language exam market. That is to say, students can enrol for an exam as an individual or group with a language school any time they want to. This is similar to the Trinity GESE in this sense and the model has proved popular with short-stay summer groups studying in the UK, for example. One main difference between Language Cert and Trinity is that the language school themselves can deliver the exam allowing lower costs for students.
The exam itself was based on City & Guilds International English exam which Language Cert acquired in 2015.
Exams can be taken as a complete four skills qualification or as two separate certificates in the following:
1. Reading, Writing & Listening
2. Speaking
Each certificate is Ofqual approved.

Advantages:
LanguageCert is on-demand, cheaper than it's main rival, Trinity GESE and mapped directly to the Common European Framework (CEFR). It is also interesting in that the schools' teachers can interlocute and invigilate the tests making it efficient for language schools. LanguageCert is a new offering from the well-established, PeopleCert, who already deliver millions of practical exams for industry in 200 countries. These include Prince 2, ITIL Foundation and Dev OPs.
Disadvantages:
LanguageCert is new so could take some time to establish its international reputation.
